AGM Matthew Snyder joins Vallejo Admirals

VALLEJO, Calif.– The Vallejo Admirals have announced Matt Snyder as their new Assistant General Manager, adding 15 of experience to the team's front office.

“I am really excited about the opportunity to join the 2017 Pacific Association champion Vallejo Admirals. This is an organization and a city truly on the rise,” Snyder said.

Snyder worked in marketing for the Tampa Bay Rays before spending the last four years in independent sports, including a stint as General Manager of the Empire League’s Watertown Bucks. Snyder also spent three years working in the East Coast’s prominent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

A graduate of Stetson Law School, Snyder brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position.

“We’re thrilled to have Matt joining us. He brings a depth of expertise and breadth of experience that we’ve really been looking for to enable us to take the team to the next level,” said Admirals Owner Kevin Reilly.

With the Admirals, Snyder will be responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating activities, including corporate partnerships, ticket sales and promotions.

“Among Matt’s several responsibilities, we’re especially looking forward to him helping us more thoroughly develop and integrate our marketing partners into our theme days this year. With Matt aboard we feel better about developing our big plans for 2018,” Reilly said.

The New Jersey native began his career at 19 years old as an intern for the Atlantic City Surf. Almost two decades later, Snyder still loves interacting with fans.

“What I love about the industry is our daily interaction with guests and creating memorable and valuable experiences,” Snyder said.
